A to Z

Look at me
I’m a baby
Small and helpless
Cute as can be

Look at me
I’m 5 years old
Pretty in pink
I do what I’m told

Look at me
I’m 15 years old
“You can’t go out dressed like that,”
You scold

Look at me
I’m thirty
Married with kids
And tired

Look at me
I’m fifty
Recently divorced
And saggy

Look at me
I’m eighty five
Hardly able to walk
And barely alive

Look at me
I’m dead
And you’ve just read
My A to Z
